Responsibilities:
- Ensure the monthly payroll and other staff benefits are processed timely and accurately.
- Furnish Monthly Management Accounts as per the set deadlines.
- Ensure the strict statutory compliance (i.e., Tax and other) of the company handled and effective maintenance of documentation.
- Conduct treasury management functions of the company by ensuring adequate funds are available.
- Ensure that the company has an updated ‘Process Manual’ and followed by all parties concerned to ensure strict controls and processes.
- Supervising the work handled by the subordinates and taking responsibility for the work performed.
- Monitor the vendor payments/invoices & journal entries, receipts of all the companies handled and ensure that they are properly evaluated.
- Handle special assignments and management reports on request timely and accurately.
Qualifications/Criteria:
- Fully/Partly Qualified Chartered Accountant or Practicing CIMA or ACCA member.
- Graduate in Accounting/Finance from a reputed university.
- 6 -7 years of experience in finance of which at least two years in a similar capacity.
- In-depth understanding of interpreting the SLAS, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of the latest finance and accounting practices in commercial sector organizations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly proficient in MS Office 365 package and the accounting packages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Time management and organizing skills.
- Meticulous and attention to details.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
