We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join our Marketing team. Job Vacancy:
Social Media Content Creator

Work Week:
Monday to Friday

Shift Window:
12.00pm to 9.00pm SLST (Straddle shift)

Other Features:
Full-time
Hybrid model (Min. 3 times a week to visit office)
Willing to travel outside Colombo when required
US calendar applicable

Responsibilities:

  • Ideate and develop original concepts across all social media sites (Eg: TikTok, Instagram and Facebook).
  • Film and edit short-form videos showcasing company events, culture, products, or services (as needed).
  • Stay on top of the latest TikTok and Reels trends, audio, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that supports campaigns and initiatives.
  • Track performance metrics of the content and suggest improvements.

 

Qualifications/Criteria:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in social media content creation.
  • Passionate about social media and have a strong understanding of the TikTok and Instagram landscapes.
  • Proficient with video editing software would be an added advantage (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
